That means when a sender uses one of these instant payment services, funds can arrive in your account in seconds—day or night, even on weekends and holidays.
No waiting for processing. No wondering when it will hit.

With real-time payments, you may be able to receive funds instantly from:
- Insurance claim payouts
- Miscellaneous disbursements

You can receive instant payments through FedNow and RTP, but sending money using these services is not yet available.

How It Works
Getting paid instantly is simple—when the sender is set up to use it.
1. The sender’s financial institution must support FedNow or RTP
Not all banks and credit unions are using these services yet.
2. The sender chooses to send the payment instantly
Even if their institution supports it, they must select the real-time option.
3. You receive the funds—right away
If both sides are enabled, the money is delivered to your Dutch Point account within seconds.
